1963 R69S Restored by Tim Stafford

Completely restored, nothing untouched. Yes, even the horn and speedometer came apart for restoration. Bike is ready to ride, yet it is in show condition. Is there any where or scratches? Yes, the normal ones on the center and side stand. And there is some swirls in the paint you might want to buff out, but this is normal with black paint and most people would not even call this out in a listing. Most paint work on these bikes is no were near as nice as this bike, I can just see everything.

The short description of this amazing 1963 BMW R69S is it was restored by me (Tim Stafford Restorations) about 2 years ago (Sep. 2015) and/or 800 miles ago. I put a about 200 miles on it before delivery, customer put less than 500 on it and I just put about 200 miles on it last week. He has $42,000 into the bike. No, not the restoration, but bike+restoration=42K. We started with a very nice low mileage bike built on Apr. 8th 1963 imported by Butler & Smith. I bought the bike in '09 from the family of the 2nd owner. It had sat for years in a garage in Arizona, yet it was a California bike and STILL has the original black plate on the bike, title and Reg. I have before restoration pix if needed. Because of the nice original condition of the bike it made for a very correct restoration down to the original hardware. This bike is a cream puff (translation; very nice all the way around) and the only reason he (my customer) is selling it his legs are shot and he can no longer kick start a bike, even though it starts very easy. Email for video of me starting it or just look on my FB page.

Below is a old expired add, but has a lot of information.
