1966 BMW R50/2

1966 BMW R50/2. This bike is turn key and ready to ride anywhere. The complete drivetrain was rebuilt in 2009 and only has 2000 miles on it since, all the break in miles and procedures are done for you already! The rebuild included a rebuilt crank with new slingers, new rings, bearings, seals and clutch. The transmission was torn apart, all bearings and seals were replaced. Any questionable gears were replaced and then the whole thing was put back together. The Rear drive was taken apart, bearings and seals replaced and the shims were checked. After the drivetrain was done it was put back in the bike as an original cruiser and that is when most of the miles were put on it. I have a clear Michigan title in my name

1959 R50

Decent daily driver 1959 R50. Was a "garage find" 5 years ago. Have thousands of dollars of receipts from having the transmission re-worked, new brake pads, engine re-worked, replaced ignition components, new 6V LED headlight kit from BMW etc. Brand new heidenau tires with about 200 miles on them. Has brand new Pagusa solo seat plus original scorsch meier bench seat. 48K miles, exact number goes up each week. I've been riding it 100 miles round-trip to work, hasn't given me any problems. Appears to be original paint, but has some issues - a 1" x 1" chip at the neck of the tank, rub marks on the rear fender where the bench seat wore on the paint, an inspection sticker from the 1970s that I haven't been able to remove. Has factory low bars that look excellent. Really could use a professional detailing, but is cool. Comes with a pair of vintage endure bags that need new latches.

1969 R50/2 US Model

This is a super rare 1969 R50US. 22000 miles. 70 of these were produced. It was the last year of the /2 and this was one which was manufactured with telescopic forks in place of the Earles forks - intended for the US market. Very original. Tank good. Saddles. Enduro bags (repro). Looks good but not perfect. Great running condition. May be a small leak in the main seal... not sure. It drips a small amount of oil behind the crankcase.

1952 R51/3 project

Selling a R51/3 project. All three numbers match and is a great candidate for a restoration.

Includes frame, very good condition. Some nicks on the paint so if you want concourse, it needs to be repainted. For a driver, the paint is very presentable. Original number plate is on the bike.

Engine is disassembled but nearly all there. I think the only thing missing is the oil pump. These engines are nearly identical to the later /2 engines so parts are very easy to get. Some items that are refreshed like valves and bearings are included but I would not consider serviceable.

No transmission included but transmissions come up from time to time on eBay (more on the German eBay which I have had a lot of good experience with).

Final drive I believe is Russian not BMW. I'll include in the package anyway.

Left rear suspension is included as well as a drive shaft.

Like I said, this would make a great restoration. Only reason I'm selling is because I already have a R51/3 that is running and too many other projects.

1960 BMW R26

This R26 is an older restoration with matching engine and frame numbers. The bike is currently tagged and insured for occasional fair weather riding on the scenic roads of Virginia. The bike runs well and always starts in one kick. Still uses an original Bing carburetor. The electrics are 6V as per original. The horn, lights and charging work well. The Speedometer is in km/hr and the handlebars are the Euro style low bars, so the bike is likely a later import. Clear Virginia title. Link with photos of the bike listed below. Call or email for more information.
